I would absolutely be down for having Leona and Catrina interact in complete confusion XD Cat will definitely be having that typical wet earth amphibian smell, though absolutely handle her like you would with poison ivy :x

Also absolutely XD Catrina was a Necromancer before plopping her merry buns into the afterlife, it'd be such a fun interaction between Maya and Cat to see play out. Will Maya be in Solar Scouts too? Forgot about the post there :x But yeah definitely, if there's a buddy system in place, I'm game for having Cat partner up with Maya for camp activities
