Yes. In another century people go to the moon! And another century or so after that, they meet other people among the stars, distant planets. There's not a lot of them here, but there's some from um -- demons and angels and what a lot of people assume are mythological.

I completely understand. I was the same way. I only started really doing hobby things for my job. It helps people meet each other based on shared interests. So music, movies, books, sports. I'm still incapable of crafts and arts. [Her Aunt's department, so it'd get weird!] You might like reading Crime and Punishment from only a little after your time period, but in Russia? It's free on the phone if you want me to pull it up for you. There's other books like that too. And it might give you ideas on how to enjo-- erm... pass the time while you're here. Or what you can do to make things better? Like doing your job. But in another facet. [Nod!]

Like I don't have everything I'd normally need for my job here. [Sort of. She COULD just shoot people but you know... NOT THE HUMAN WAY ANYWAY!!!] But I can still help people be happy and make friends or enjoy their time here.

And I'm working at the movie theater, because that's what I did in university. Oh right! Movies are like plays, but they're recorded like a book, shown on a flat screen, so you can rewatch them, or show way more people than could fit in one theater. Just be careful with movies in Hell. If I remember right, France was still very strict with arts in your time? It had to be religious or culturally significant, like the Roman statues and paintings?

Hell gets a lot more... lascivious... as you might expect. But it could be a really big culture shock for you I think. Better to start with Heaven's movies. They're much more tame. I can even dig up some religious ones if you want. Or Film Noir? It's a French movie art technique based on investigators solving crimes!
