HELLO FRIENDS SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

-As a reminder, we have two new mods!! LUC AND WAFEL YEEEAH I realized a month later I posted that announcement in the wrong comm why didn't anyone call me out cry. As a reminder I'm in con crunch time and in the production mines so plz bare with slower answers sometimes!!
-JANUARY WILL BE RANMA 1/2 MONTH!!! WHAT'S THAT ABOUT??
For those who are blissfully canon blind, Ranma 1/2 is a long running Rom-Com/action anime where the main character, Ranma Saotome, a typical cis dude anime protag, magically transforms into a girl every time he's splashed with cold water! This is due to falling into a "Cursed Spring" a girl drowned in. He can only change back when splashed with hot water!
He's not the only one with this curse, however--there's a guy that turns into a baby pig due to the "Spring of Drowned Piglet," a girl who turns into a cat, a panda, a goose...you get the picture. There's even a character that turns into a chimera of sorts due to MULTIPLE springs getting him!
SO IN JANUARY there will be some hot springs and other shenanigans to get characters cursed! It's up to you what kind of curse they get--the sky's the limit, if it can drown, it's fair game. ("Ash what if I want to be spring of drowned car??" I don't know why you would want that you freak but cars and other weird shit like that are street legal. bangs gavel.)

-What kind of gift you'd like your character to have!! Once one of us replies with APPROVED you can assume an imp or cherub knocks on their hotel door to deliver a gift wrapped present. If the item you request is larger than a man well. That's just hilarious.
No real limits on the item from home but like, be reasonable lol. (example: I'd like his gun from home - okay. I'D LIKE HIS ENTIRE STASH OF MACHINE GUNS - n,no pick one). Instead of an item, they can instead receive some kind of proof that they will in fact, be revived! This option is only available for characters who aren't dead in canon of course. Unless you want to make your dead character sad. You're a monster, but I respect your hustle.

Gift from Home please, he's getting his Duel Disk (it blends manga and anime versions)! After a brief scare of thinking he just asked for a cool stick, please come back cherub he wasn't done,
The Duel Disk in canon just goes 'alright you can project holograms in a small arena range, and they might knock you back by 4 feet worst case'.
Jonouchi's abilities -through- the disk kinda toss all that out a window, BUT it also only affects him- even if he passes on the ability to SEE stuff to whoever is around, he's...Still the only one who can potentially get shanked and thrown around by a 'hologram', RIP buddy.
Duel Disk stuff is limited to Duel Stuff though, so no slapping cards on the disk and just summoning monsters to do shit, everything has to be In A Card Battle Format. Those rules from application still apply Jou bud.

I want Tayrey to get proof that she survived the incident that she thought killed her. As she's a total skeptic, to make it believable for her I'd like her to temporarily wake in her starship's infirmary and stay there for long enough for her to realise that she survived and is getting medical help. Then she loses consciousness again and wakes back in Heaven.

Gift from home: He will be receiving his Scales of Justice from home, something he used to weigh the sins of a person after their death. Unlike back home, if he tries to weigh in on something here, nothing will happen unless he makes a decision for himself. Since he is no longer in Heaven, it no longer follows that set of laws. The Scales are mildly sentient and, while not capable of speaking outright, they can be temperamental like an annoyed toddler and show displeasure by vibrating.
Typically, no sin can hide from justice but, for kicks and a nerf, the success rate will be 50/50 at best.
Greed
Gift from Home: Greed's not only dead, he's double dead and he knows it. So, if it's a-ok, he would be thrilled with a crate of vintage Stray Dog Whiskey that somehow survived the raid on the original 'Nest along with a few matchboxes. If these don't work, just let me know!

Ochako would love to have cute little photo album with tons of pictures of her friends/classmates (and teachers!!) as well as pictures of her family as well. It'd mean the world for her to regain those memories and be able to at least see her most important peoples' faces in the form of a photo or tw--...enty. >__>
Also, if possible, she would like the confirmation that she isn't super mcfucking dead, that'd be swell.

I’d love for Poppy to get a BroZone vinyl record! We only explicitly see Branch’s copy in canon but Poppy is revealed to be a huge fan/have a copy too so yeah! A record player would be lovely too if the rooms don’t come equipped with one.

Idia has been quietly antsy about the fact that his long-dead brother is also not here, so some confirmation that his

He'll receive a snow globe from an imp! If he shakes it, a moment from the canonpoint he was pulled will play out, but something weird happens. Someone (maybe Gon or another companion) seems like he's standing over him, poking him.
"He passed out!" "Is he okay?" "Of course he is, he's still breathing...I think..."
Then the scene fades, covered by snow in the globe.

Her gift from a cherub will be cute little star projector for her hotel room! It projects pretty starts and galaxies and cute stuff like that. However, the first time she plays it, it'll actually project a current moment from her home life--it may be her parents, or her friends, and herself, laying on a bed. She'll hear a conversation:
"She's been sleeping so long, but look, her cheeks look a little more rosey." "That means she may wake up soon, right?"
Someone will leave a plushie by her side before the projection goes back to normal stars and such.

When she gets to the end of the album however, there will be a set of photos that shouldn't exist. Photos of her being rescued by helicopter, confirmation Toga's dead/saved her (if she wants), a photo of her in the hospital sleeping, with her parents by her bed side smiling and looking hopeful, etc.

He will get the vidya game! However the first time he boots it up, it'll play a literal zelda-ish graphic of Ortho (pixel art style) with the text 'your brother is in another castle' before cutting to an actual video of him! Robo-ortho will be delivering his school books home or something, and actual!Ortho bro's soul will be..well, it's hard to make out, but it's bright and feels warm, so looks like he's probably in SOME kinda heaven!!
After the video plays he can play the game like normal!

The Gift From Home: A Digital Pet, from the early arcs of the manga! It'd still have plenty of battery life, since he just changed the battery recently. It's a reminder of his more innocent days, but he also just likes taking care of cute digital things.
(Though if he can get a pair of them, that'd be pretty sweet, too. He has uh. A lot of little electronic games lying around.)
It's basically a Tamagotchi, but the monster inside grows based on the person who raised them. Yu-Gi-Oh! is weird, lol.
