Anyway the first official in game post will go up Thursday night with an icebreaker type mingle, and after that, you're free, post yourselves, meet CR, get weird, I don't care!! Please remember though:

1) If you have any special notes or DNIs/Do Not Wants, please make sure these are visible and easy to find for other players! Same goes for any Opt Out/Opt In posts you may have!

2) Also make sure you have SOME kind of profile on your journal so any other players can at least take a quick glance at it to know your character's deal. It doesn't have to be super detailed or anything!

3) We'll be attempting to do two posts a month in general; just silly prompts for building CR! You're also encouraged to do these kinds of posts. Sky's the limit!!

4) Remember to join the comms!! The IC comm is now visible to members only!

Hey guys! My name is Daily and I didn’t apply for either one of the characters I initially said I was going for. Whoops. Instead I am gifting you folks with the gremlin supreme, Niffty from Hazbin Hotel. Allow me to apologize ahead of time for any and all headaches brought about by this boy crazy Sinner and her antics. It’s going to be a bumpy ride. I’ve played in various games since 2006 but just came back from a decade long hiatus a few months ago. A few games I can remember off the top of my head: Ataraxion, God and Man/God vs Man, Paradisa, Polychromatic, POLY☆technic and The City. There’s a ton more but yeah, those were my mains.

She is cute as a button but will bite and is prone to running around Chucky style with sharp objects. There is an 80% chance (maybe) she is harmless if you aren’t a bug, just don’t be surprised if you’re a smokin’ hot bad boy and she tries to take a piece of you home with her. It’s her love language, truly.

Niffty has no filter or regard for personal space or her own self-preservation. She says some twisted stuff and is definitely in the top 1% of crazy. Having died in the 50s, she also undertakes a lot of tasks the perfect housewife would have been expected to do; cooking, cleaning, sewing, etc, to the point of obsession. The only thing that may trump her love of cleanliness is her fondness for pain. She is definitely a masochist and, judging by her stint at the BDSM club, punishing bad boys is on her bucket list.

Hello hi whoops I totally forgot to post on the last meet and greet, so I'll intro here! I'm Merlot and I'm playing the other twin from the silly trolls movie. Even though Veneer is one of the antagonists, he is actually a good boy (or a good enough boy) which is why he gets to go to heaven, sorry not sorry Velvet. Veneer's biggest problem is that he's kind of just a huuuuge people pleaser and would rather be the person you want him to be than the person he really is, and since he especially wants his sister's approval, he tends to copy her nasty attitude a lot. But it's fine, it's fine, he's working on it. It's fine.

That said, he still comes from a place where even the nicest person is going to be materialistic as hell and obsessed with trends, so he can still be a brat. He's got...he's got shit to unlearn.

As Merlot mentioned Velvet and Veneer were raised in a place where the ideal person was the richest and loudest person you could think of, and Velvet does a great job of abiding to societal standards. Which makes her actually a really shitty person, as it turns out, and also one who maybe doesn't see other creatures as having valuable lives in the same way she sees herself and her brother. Which is why she's taking up residence in hell, oops. Even though she's his opposite, she's still gonna match- and she'll be a mink along with him, eventually. After she's freaked everyone else out by being a literal vinyl doll, anyway.

She masks her intense insecurities from even herself by being a huge self-absorbed bitch (except when playing nice for the cameras— she's a celebrity, after all!) and does have a bit of an insatiable lust for fame and glory but it's fine! she's definitely teachable! probably!!!

My name is RJ, and gonna be real, while I've dipped my toes into Dreamwidth roleplaying before, I haven't actually done much long term stuff, so I'm excited to really try it right now!

I bring with me Raphael Hamato from his second most recent iteration, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Despite being a giant spiky turtle associated with the color red, this Raph is less of a hot head and more of a big softie that just so happens to also be a reckless kid that loves fights. Give him wrestling match to watch and he'll cheer and scream his heart out, then give him a puppy and watch him melt into a puddle over the cuteness. Is it really any surprise he went to Heaven?

Also of note about him? It will take a bit for him to ease up, because none of his brothers are here! And while it's nice knowing none of them are - you know - Raph is very much a worrywart when it come to them, so be prepared for him to be incredibly anxious about that - or worse! (Something that will be explained whenever I get a profile up, hopefully soonish)

HELLO AGAIN. For anyone who didn't see on the TDM intro post, I am Vector (vectorspace), and I am bringing you. . . a character who requires a bit of explanation. She is technically Maki from Danganronpa V3, but PGAU from Imeeji, an amnesia-idol-hell game where she was for an IC year, slowly regaining her memories. If you know anything about Danganronpa V3, you know why she did not enjoy that process very much. If you do not know and are curious to know, I now have an info post up here!

The key points are that she has decided she wants nothing more to do with her past identity as "Maki" - she now goes by Morning☆Glory, or just Glory for short. Her hair is white, and she was adopted by the Devil May Cry cast and has been living in Devil May Cry world and training to be a devil hunter. She is ICly aware these are all incredibly chuuni things to do with her new identity, but she has learned to embrace it. Kill the part of you that cringes!!

THAT SAID, I also now have an opt-out post for the various bullshit that may come up when threading with Glory, including DRV3 spoilers, PGAU backstory, meta, suicide, incest, and age gap relationships. She's... she's had a lot going on, okay. It is fairly easy to dodge any of those topics, so feel free to drop me a quick note if you'd rather avoid any of them for any reason!

Hello friends!! I am Monica and I am bringing Taranza, who is PGAU from Sidereal. He is a recovering evil henchman type, so I am genuinely excited to bring him into a space that has a wide moral spectrum between its characters. WHICH WAY, KIRBY SPIDER? WHERE WILL LIFE BRING YOU HERE! It is a good thing he already went through some development in another RP to bolster him against the worst case scenarios, but even so, he is not the most strong-willed of characters.

He is going to be Heaven-Bound, though this is less because of his inherent goodness, because his goodness level is (hand waggle motion). No, he is mostly going to Heaven because he lived for most of his life in a beautiful palace in the clouds, so aesthetically, Heaven is more of his kinda environment. He can work at a flower shop.

I tried to put together an informational post for anyone who is ??? about this character. This also includes info on his powers, though some significant ones are going to be powercapped here. He is going to have a minor crisis once he realizes how relatively helpless he is.

He is also going to have a major crisis when he realizes that this is the afterlife and that means he might run into someone who is dead here, but dooooon't worry about it!!!

For those who are canon-blind, Velvette is basically what would happen if you took Miranda Priestly from the Devil Wears Prada, crossed her with a social media influencer, added in a British accent, and then turned her loose in hell. She also has an absolute bop of a song (some minor Hazbin spoilers in the link) She's the self-proclaimed backbone of the Vees, and is also known as the Social Media Overlord.

Velvette is sassy, snarky, and unafraid of getting up in people's faces if she thinks the situation is warranted. However, since she's also the one who handles the social media and some of the Vees' marketing, she knows how to behave when she chooses to. (Emphasis on chooses)

Her goal will be to recruit all sorts of people to work for the Vees, get herself and Valentino back to where they should be (insanely wealthy and influential) and make aaallll the deals.

If you have no idea what that canon is, imagine Dead by Daylight as a mobile game set around 1890-1920 with a big spooky mansion, a ton of references to Lovecraft and Greek Mythology, survivors that look like dolls and have different special abilities, and the lore is mostly dispensed through letters that come out on character birthdays.

Antonio here is one of the hunters. He will be going to hell since where else would you find someone who sold his soul to the devil? Granted, he is a talented violinist in his own right, but his hedonistic tendencies wound up with him stuck working for a greedy noble family and he got desperate to leave... It went downhill from there.

PS. I'm almost finished with the ref for Antonio's demon changes. Not a drastic change from the stitched up zombie with prehensile hair look, but now it looks like there's a red devil mask stitched to his face.
