Really? It's pretty common with quirks that cause subtle to full heteromorphism. Mirko-san is on the more subtle end, same with Hawks and my friend Tsuyu-chan...but my other friends - my classmates - Shouji and Tokoyami are more apparent. Tokoyami-kun has the head of a black bird and the rest of him looks human.
