However. I hadn't wanted to have this conversation yet, but since we're already on the topic! Helping regular sinners is one thing, Charlie. But something you, as Hell's royalty, can never, ever do is get in the middle of Overlord politics. If there are Overlords pit against each other, let them. Don't get between them, don't get in the way of anything they're doing. I know it hurts to hear that, and I'm sorry. It's not a not helping people thing, it's an 'all of Hell's royalty is held to the same standard' thing.

If you were to step in places where I couldn't, it would be seen as though I were using you as a proxy and would have the same, as you put it, upending the entire apple cart effect. Some things have to be left alone. Hell, Charlie, I can't even get in between the other Sins' problems, and we're on almost equal footing! Hell's politics are complicated and the balance is extremely delicate. It's why your mother always took care of all of it.
