Hey everyone!

With summer moving in, we're planning on bringing you a HOT HEAVEN AND HELL SUMMER, including the opening of the LUST/GLUTTONY, SLOTH, and TEMPERANCE/FORTITUDE rings! As you can imagine, expanding the game to the subjects encompassed in these rings might get us into some... hellish territory.

As a preview, these rings will be
-A hedonistic theme park with ties to the Hell criminal circuit
-A portal through time into dreamsharing (at your leisure)
-A perfect Karaoke bar where you know all the songs and EVERYONE'S a star

Right now, the rules state that only smut content should be moved off comm, but smut isn't where heaven and hell stop in terms of content that might not be appropriate for certain crowds. We also want to be sure to warn for triggering subjects, tagged or untagged, that will be more common within the growing themes.

Since we've been using the same comm up until now, we'd like you guys to vote on some potentials;

Making a new comm for potentially triggering/nsfw/sexual subjects within Heaven and Hell, including some parts of certain events, but allowing for more network posts that are Hell or Heaven-centric

Keeping everything on the main comm and acknowledging that the nature of the game may have more dicey things coming up, but encouraging everyone to keep potentially triggering content under cuts, even when doing network posts

We have a bit of a slow rolling, teensy tiny metaplot story that we'll be revealing alongside these play opportunities, but it will largely remain sandboxy. You will absolutely be able to continue playing without worrying about the metaplot, but might get some short term "minigame" opportunities in the future. More on that later.

With that metaplot rolling and more to the game opening up, though, we want to be sure people are aware that being a game based on the dichotomy of heaven and hell and virtue and sin will bring a lot more potential for triggering subjects to come up. Since it's Hell, we don't want to limit things even if it's also "silly hell", because we know there's a lot of crack opportunities you can still make work with darker subjects. But we want you to be aware that there will also be some dark (and some not-so-dark but potentially still warning-worthy) subject matter in Heaven, too.

Underage characters are still allowed at Heckin' and there is no one in the rings of Hell who will make sure that everyone's 18 before doing Hell Crimes in Hell. If you'd like to avoid interactions with characters under 18 in the Lust/Gluttony ring especially, this would be an optimal opportunity to update your permissions. While we don't want to put limits on people's sinning, we do want everyone to respect others limits, so if you are threading as an underage character make sure to check your thread partner's permissions before engaging in Hellish Habits no matter where you are in the afterlife.
