A: Garden Level - Fall IN!
[The garden is full of fruits and overflowing with milk and honey as usual, truly a paradise. But gasp, what's this? A PALLET CHANGE? Instead of the typical lush green, it's taken on more Autumn colors for Aesthetic^TM. It's still pleasantly warm as usual though, for current denizens and newbies alike, and it's gosh darn nice to hang out in.

But speaking of newbies and passerbys! If you pop in, you'll find yourself landing in a pile of colorful leaves. But these ain't no normal leaves!! Depending on the color, you may experience the following:

Yellow- Get energized nerd!! Despite just dying, you're suddenly filled to the brim with joy, and far more amicable to the first people you see.
Orange- Ever heard of love at first sight?? IT'S HAPPENING NOW. You may become absolutely smitten with the first few folks that help you out of your pile.
Red- Or the complete opposite! You're filled with the POWER OF AGGRO and ready to argue or fight with whoever you see first!

Or maybe you fall in a pile of mixed leaves that give you a combo of effects, or nullify the effect so nothing happens! Up to you. ]

B, Hell Level: Spooky Scary Skeletons
[Down at the HellRaiser hotel, it's already practically halloween 24/7, but now even more so! The standard hellish hotel amenities are available--massages, hot saunas, all the booze and drugs you could ever want, room service, etc!

But the perpetual night life is where it's at. In celebration of the most unholy season of the year (citation needed), the clubs are HOPPING and playing music loud enough it could raise the (un)dead. . .literally! You could be walking on your way back from getting a burger, and skeleton or zombie bursts from the ground! They might attack you or. . .try to get you to dance with them. Weird. Either way, don't linger too long, or they'll try to get you to go back further into the depths with them. . .

Alternatively maybe you're just accosted by some normal party demons/imps and dragged into a club. Have fun!]

C, Heaven Level: The Holy Spirit Halloween
[Heaven-side, the heavenly hotel is its normal, pampering self, complete with every luxurious amenity you could imagine. However, it seems some parts of the hotel are decorated with more. . .demonic accents??

It's not just the hotel either. Outside, spot angels in all sorts of costumes, ranging from black cats to silly godzilla rubber suits. That's right, TIS THE SEASON, and it's the only time angels get to indulge in more silly ~sinful~ desires! Is this cultural appropriation?? Don't worry about it.

As for you, if you're not chillin' at a cat cafe or the gorgeous beach or a coffee shop, you may find a cherub stuffing you into a silly costume. When in Rome!! You may also come across huge golden depots full of costumes, so feel free to shop around! The cherubs within will also see to your every need, as if they're extensions of the hotel as well]

When she hears that he's fine, Lute relaxes. The cherubs here can be even pushier than the ones she's used to, and sometimes new winners need to be told that they can say no to whatever it is the cherubs are clamoring for.

She looks over his costume again. 'I don't know what it is, but the color's good on you.'

Then Lute glances down at her own clothes. 'No, this is just me,' she tells him, There are no bloodstains on her today. Skeletons don't bleed when you destroy them. Lute stretches out her wings, then gives them a little half-flap. 'They think I look good enough already.' Deadpan.

Klaus looks down before immediately doing a little spin. "Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's one of the girl Jetsons. From that space show? Or maybe it's not space? I admit I was high when I was watching it..." They were high a lot of the time, though.

They don't have wings, but there's definitely a slight glow about them. It seems mostly pointless as a power, but there it is. He laughs a little at the response. "Well, I guess they would. That or they don't want to die."

'I don't watch much TV.' It's not a lie; Heaven does have TV, and Lute has watched some of it. Mostly sports, and action movies. Usually when Adam insisted she just had to see something cool.

She smirks at his comment about the cherubs. 'That too. Don't let them push you around. Are you new to all this?' Subtly but significantly different from asking if he's new here.

Klaus shrugs. That seems fair. It's one of those things. Some people just don't watch TV. It isn't like they saw much TV as kids anyway. Reginald wasn't a big 'TV' person.

"To this in specific? Yeah. Dying, no. But this is waaay different from my Void. And the girl on the bike's not around. Nobunaga says God here isn't just some girl on a bike..." Which is fine, but still weird to think about after all that dying.

'God is not a girl on a bike, but He could appear that way to you if He chose. God's true form is impossible for humans to look upon.' It's a strange choice, but who is Lute to criticise God's choices, if this man is telling the truth.

'What did the girl say to you? What's your void?' She has to ask. Lute can accept the existence of different realms without blinking, but when it comes down to it, she's a monotheist. One God created all of them.

"She totally is. For sure." Cause they saw her. They seem particularly certain of this. Despite all the explanation. "I mean, if you're dead, does looking on his true form really matter? You're dead." Also this is like...one of those weird things. "I think I prefer the idea of God as Alanis Morissette, though. Like...uh...Dogma." Does she even know what that is? Maybe not.

"Ummmm...nothing? She just pointed and looked very judgmental." Cause that's one of those weird things. "And my Void is like...the place I go when I die."

Lute knows what dogma is, but in this instance a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. She does get the impression that she shouldn't try too hard to explain. That in other circumstances he'd have been insisting no, God really is a literal pillar of fire, he saw it.

'Human brains are still human, even in the afterlife. It's for your comfort,' she offers by way of explanation.

'What religion do you follow?' At this point she wouldn't be surprised if it's one he made up himself, but she's curious enough to ask.

Klaus considers everything. "I dunno. I've seen a lot of fucked up shit. I think I could handle it. Dad is a bug alien, there was a guy that was just a floating cube, lots of death. Once I saw Diego naked without warning." Like that really mattered. It wasn't that uncomfortable.

"Me? None. I'm not really a religious person. Like sure, that girl is some version of god or whatever and I've seen the afterlife but I'm not really an organized religion sort of person...you know?" A beat. "Or not."

'Who's Diego? You met a guy who was a cube?'

Lute's wings extend upward a little in surprise. Not that he doesn't follow an organized religion, she'd guessed that much, but all the rest of it? She's seen many things on heaven and earth, but never cube people.

"Oh. He's my brother. One of...five?" A beat. "Yeah, five. I have six siblings. We were all adopted. And yeah. There was. His name was Christopher. Apparently." It's a totally normal time. At least, it seems that way by the way that Klaus is talking about it.

"You've never had cube guys in Heaven?"

'Six. Is that a lot, in your time?' Look, she makes it her business to care about Earth demographics, after the sudden population explosion in Hell.

Lute shakes her head. 'I've never seen cube guys in Heaven. I haven't met every single person, so I'm not saying there are none - how cube are we talking? Was he just short and fat, or do you mean actual edges and sharp corners?'

"Depends on who you ask, really." Sometimes six is a lot, sometimes it's not. "The further west and more religious you get, the less likely it's considered a lot? But like my sister only had one kid." When she had one.

"Oh, no. He was an actual cube. Floating in the air. The whole shebang. Just a floating, black cube. It's a totally normal thing sometimes. He was pretty good at fighting. He kicked Diego's ass." The Sparrows had kind of kicked all of their asses. It was only Viktor reacting that did any damage on their side.

'How does a cube fight? Slamming into people?!'

Lute, asking the important questions.

"Something like that? Diego jumped on him and there was a lot of flailing." It's a weird and fun time.

"I feel like that's pretty obvious, though. Or maybe it's hard to imagine."

'It's obvious, but I had to ask. He could have shot beams of holy light from his corners,' Lute replies. Unlikely? No more unlikely than the existence of such a cube in the first place.

There's a laugh at the mention of holy light. "Yeah. None of us were really 'holy light' kind of people. Though our mom who wasn't our mom did think that the firey ball in the basement was god, so...I guess I couldn't fully rule it out. But I think that was a delusion because she was treated awful in that timeline and had a mental break. Which you think wouldn't happen to a robot, but hey..."

There was still that time when she went a little wonky, but that was because someone messed with her wiring...apparently.
