heckinmodsAPPS ARE BEING PROCESSED!
Apps are being processed today!! Apps will remain open til about 11pm EST and/or whenever I wake up after that.
THE IC GEN POST FOR JUNE IS UP!! HAVE AT. Also you can introduce yourselves ooc in this post if you want. Or don't! Do what you want!
Date TBD for future app openings HOWEVER for my sanity am contemplating that in July apps will just be open indefinitely and I will approve them when I get to em!! WHO KNOWS more info on this later when I make up my mind! Prospective players can continue using last month's Test Drive Meme til I figure this out.
IT'S TIME FOR UTENA MONTH!!!1
What is Utena about? SEVERAL THINGS, WHICH I WILL NOT EXPLAIN. Have an incomprehensible AMV (CW: some adjacent DV/domestic violence in the beginning via slapping). Anyway it doesn't matter, FEATURES FOR THIS MONTH:
-FLOWERS AND OUTFITS. Characters may or may not find most (if not all) their wardrobe swapped with general shoujo style outfits. Maybe you have a really stylish school uniform or you're a whole ass Rose Bride. Are you 30 or 40? TOO BAD MAYBE YOU HAVE SHOUJO BOOTY SHORTS NOW. You may also be prone to several tropes, such as your shirt flying open dramatically, sparkles, and posing on top of your car for no reason. Anyway that's all up to you. More importantly are the FLOWERS.
No matter what you're wearing, special outfit or your normal duds, you may have a FLOWER pinned to your chest! Roses of any color are typical, but it can be any kind of flower you want!! If the flowers are damaged/petals fall in anyway, you'll be compelled to abruptly divulge a deep secret or insecurity or whatever to someone. You might be able to keep it in briefly but you'll need to word vomit at someone eventually!!
But would could damage these flowers you ask (aside from general assholes and/or you obliviously plucking the petals yourself??)
-SHADOWS. Two Dimensional shadows of characters characters will be lurking around at your discretion! These shadows are made from negative traits of your characters, and will be compelled to attack you or your CR. Maybe it's out of jealousy, rage, spite, or maybe your shadow is just a dick who knows!! They may or may not talk, that's up to you! Shadows can look like your character's silhouettes or can be something more monstrous idc. If you're a normie and are like 'what can my shadow do to me lol' WELL THEY ALL HAVE SHADOW SWORDS, and they *can* kill you. Or pluck at your flower.
And the only way to permanently destroy a shadow is. . .
-HEART WEAPONS SEE CLIP. No you do not need to say an incantation but you can if you want to be Extra about it.
As Abe and Lucy will explain, by bonding with someone (ie: just talking with them), you can extract a HEART WEAPON of your choice from your chest all dramatically. You can use said weapon, or your CR/the person who pulls it out can, idc. For the purpose of this event, this weapon can be anything. Yes if you want to pull a rose covered bazooka out of your friend's chest as a symbolic gesture of how big your dick is for the, that's kosher.
While shadows can be fought without weapons, only Heart Weapons will put them down permanently, so they will be BACK if you don't strike them down!
-Finally, there's the DUELING ARENA as described on the post. There's nothing dangerous about it but characters can be compelled to hash out their issues and duel or talk or fight there (any kind of fight, it doesn't have to be with weapons or an actual physical fight), it's just there for Aesthetic if character's want a dramatic place to do shit.
Of course per usual, all this is 100% optional and you can go about your normal Heaven or Hell experience. Or do both!!!
