ACTIVITY CHECK
HOLY SHIT IT'S ALMOST JUNE. GET YOUR A/C IN BY FRIDAY. PUT IT IN THE LAST COLUMN HERE!! If you are dropping or on Hiatus, please note that on the Drop/Hiatus tab please!
APPS
APPS WILL OPEN ON FRIDAY MAY 31ST AT...WHATEVER TIME IDK I'll announce it but you won't be poopoo'd if you throw your app in before the plurk goes up. They'll stay open until Sunday evening June 2nd! This is a rather short window I know, but as I've mentioned May has been HELLA BUSY for me so I'm just trying to get everything back on track!
Speaking of, the TDM is here! Remember this counts for AC, so hit ppl up!
UTENA MONTH
JUNE'S THEME WILL BE UTENA!!! I'll do a more in depth ooc post before apps close, but a cliffnotes version of things that will be available to play with!
-Mermay forms will be gone as of June 1st! All the water will finally be drained away and each realm back to normal, hooray!
-Characters will have the option to suddenly be wearing Utena style outfits, and other shoujo style anime shit (think Rose of Versailles and such), each which has a flower pinned to the chest.
-2D Shadows of characters will be popping up in Heaven and Hell! These will be a manifestation of negativity from your characters--be it self hatred, insecurity, loneliness, or silly shit like 'they hate your fashion' lmao. These shadows can appear anywhere and try to attack you or your CR!
-Said shadows can appear as stylized shadow duplicates or monstrous, your choice!
-The gimmick being the ONLY way these shadows can be destroyed? Is with a weapon of your choice that is pulled out of your heart/chest by someone you love/trust/like vaguely/just want CR with. How will they find this out??? Abe and Lucy will explain that HEY GUYS MAYBE YOU SHOULD BOND MORE!!!11 and during bonding ur chests will sparkle.
-Also those flowers pinned to your chest? Any time those get damaged, you'll be compelled to want to divulge something personal to someone. So keep those petals in tact if you don't want that happening!!
-There will be SO many aesthetic roses and rainbows. So many.
But yes I will do a more detailed post on this later this week!!
JULY AND THE FUTURE
July will NOT have a theme going, just to give folks some breathing room to create CR and do their own thing without extra shenanigans! However there will be a bonus gimmick--Heaven's First Big Brother Mentor ProgramTM!!! (official name pending). Basically the ratio of hell to heaven characters is 2:1 at the moment, so Heaven characters will be given tasks to try to ~recruit~ their Hell brethren! This absolutely does not actually have to work and is just to facilitate CR. Hell citizens will also be given some tasks as well, don't u worry. We are going to do our best to team up similar timezones and mix up canons in these groupings. If you have any opt-outs or expect to hiatus during July, please send a private message to heckinmods so we can plan accordingly. This was suggested by Harley!
SPEAKING OF--HARLEY (CHICKENMOD) IS STEPPING DOWN AS MOD/PLAYER
Harley is super busy so is bowing out of the game! SO THANK U CHICKENMOD. However she will be around to help me fix the spreadsheet if I cry at her. Thank u bro. She has a poll here asking how folks would prefer the taken list to be sorted, check it out!
I may or may not be looking for more mods for the future, so if you are interested, send this account a PM! But I'll have more details on this for the gen public come July.
